Work in progress: ak-74 ( cyma - 031 )

The side without the charging handle needs a bit more brown. Other than that I have one question for you guys. This is my first time both using spray paint and painting my guns. I know that there is suppose to be one last clear coat layer that is suppose to go on top all this , what am I suppose to use? I ask this because the paint tends to be able to be scratched off. What type of coat can help prevent this?

Paints used: Rustoleum camouflage army green, earth brown, and khaki. but again I need to know what is that last coat that i need to put on the gun.

The cheap stuff that comes in a can will do just fine. Let it dry for like a week though.

What cheap stuff? That's the thing , I don't know what is that last coat. Plus i don't want all this hard work to go to waste just because it can scratch off easily, but i understand it will go through some wear an tear.

Cheap clearcoat in a can. I should have clarified that. Krylon makes some. A couple thin coats should do you good, but not a lot or else it may turn a bit glossy.
