For those who are buying a 16 sp

Be aware that your trademarks on the URX rail might be colored out with a sharpie. My brother received his G4-a5 16sp with all the trades covered with permanent marker. I bet there are ways to remove it though. So anyone considering the 16sp should know about this before they buy it.

Whatever the Sharpie ink is based on, you can probably wash it off with whatever liquid.

I got my G4-A5 DMR in a few days ago. I had the rails switched out for the 16sp's rails because they were in stock and I wanted my gun.

The top trades on mine were colored over too, and if anyone knows how to get it off, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Acetone will take it off easy. You can buy it at any store that sells nail supplies. I think home depot also sells acetone.

I also know an easy way to remove sharpie.

Grab a dry erase marker
Un-cap the dry erase marker
scribble over the sharpie with the dry erase marker
Wipe Dry erase marker off
Repeat as necessary

I use this method to clean dry-erase boards and other items at work that people have written on with sharpie.
