KWA vs. King Arms

Ok, I'm an airsoft newbie, I have been researching for a few months. I have about $450 to spend (Gun, battery, charger, BBs). I basically have it narrowed down to two guns, but I can't figure out which to get. I will mostly be doing Field and maybe some CQB. Don't really factor in the CQB fps because I know I can downgrade the KWA fps.

Now, I know KWA has amazing internals, but I haven't researched King Arms much. Now, I can't (A this point) upgrade anything. Everything on the stock gun is all I get. I like the KWA quality internals but I know that the King Arms externals on the specific gun are a great deal for what I'm getting. So in the end, I'm leaning on the KWA for the internals and the King Arms for the externals. If you want to recommend anything, go ahead.

Neither. VFC and ICS are better. Get ICS if VFC is unavailable.

Most people on here will tell you to avoid the KWA, and I'd have to agree. Their gearbox design is slightly off-spec from the industry standard which makes adding upgrades problematic. Also, it's hard to find 9mmbushings which the KWA gearbox uses.

I'd recommend a VFC or CA X-Series. I own a CA and have held a VFC. They have about the same external build quality and I can say that the CA is very good internally, I haven't opened up a VFC so I can't comment but they're supposed to be very good as well.

Intellect 9.6v nunchuck
Smart charger
gi g4 bbs
eye pro and face pro

less than 450, better than KWA

The CA is in stock, but I'm leaning toward the VFC. I know the internals are better. I will definetly be upgrading to Magpul parts over time. Which will be the best out of the box, most upgradeable, and last for the longest in stock form?

CAs are known for lasting quite a while, but I think that the VFC is way worth it. Pick your poison, both will perform almost the same.
Some differences are that the VFC comes with a 6.05 tbb, the CA has a 6.08. The VFC has the more functional bolt catch, you have to hold down the bolt for it to catch on the CA. CA comes with a highcap, VFC a midcap.

I'm Getting the VFC. I Will eventually a tightbore 6.01 and etc. Where can I find the eye pro and face pro or some other face protection?

Definitely go for a VFC. They're hard to find in stock because people keep buying them.

I'd choose ICS over Classic Army as well, but VFC first. Goggles are easy to find and not very expensive.

Oh and to add to the whole mask dilemma, I wear prescription glasses that I need 100% of the time, so, I need a mask to fit over my glasses.
