G&G m14 soc 16 or E1 socom m14?

im looking into getting a m14, and i came down between and echo 1 or G&G. im still relativity new to airsoft, so i was wondering if i could get some opinions on which one has a better overall value. i would mainly be using this for field work, as i already have a cqb gun, and which one takes to upgrades better? thanks for anyones insight in advance.

G&G no doubt. Their m14's are known to be one of their best in their aeg line.

for what reason would you go with G&G? the fps is lower, and if i am planning on using it for outdoor battles, wouldnt the echo 1 be better for that? also, im assuming that the G&G has better internals than the echo 1?

Yea, the G&G will have better internals. It will also have a better hopup system(Barrel, bucking, and hopup unit). It should have much better accuracy and range over the echo1.

Btw: FPS does not increase range all that much.

awesome, like i said im pretty new to airsoft and its great to get other peoples opinion on the quality of the gun, because that means a good bit to me.

Yes, if I knew the quality difference between an echo1 or jg and a G&G or VFC, I would've saved for a G&G in a heartbeat. Oh, and the metals and plastics will also be better.

If you can afford it, G&G all the way. But the Echo 1 m14 is a very good gun, because I believe it is a CYMA re-brand, and their m14's are outstanding guns, very nice construction, INSANE accuracy and very good range, nice ROF and FPS. Pick which one you like the best and buy it, they both are outstanding guns.
