Help with AAC HONEY BADGER Airsoft remake

Postby SigUser on Sat Feb 04, 2012 5:48 pm

I Have always had an idea to take an M4, put a unique retractable stock on it, and make it look internally suppressed. Recently, I've discovered the AAC Honey Badger (real steel) Looks exactly how i want my airsoft gun to. Does anyone know how i would accomplish this? I'm thinking of using the 12 inch Madbull JP conversion kit on a G&G combat machine (both things in tan) and then getting a weird stock. Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

The front end should look alright, but the closest youll get to that stock is this

You could try to mod a MP5 retractible stock to fit.
I wish I had more time to devote to airsoft...

Thatd be alot of work though. Youd need to build an adapter, or cut the stock tube off, drill a hole, then fill it and hope its stable. I feel like its too much of a gamble, and youd end up wasting alot of money in experimentation.

Yea, seems like it'd be a huge chunk of change. But still, It'd be a sweet make and if I ever get around to it I'll definitely go for it. Thanks for the Suggestions guys! I'm definitely gonna try them out.

Lol, I'm building the same thing right now, I went with the 9.8 JP rail and I'm looking into getting a stock from the ICS CXP, but they are impossible to find

I was considering taking a G&P Tank stock, but it would need some sort of butt pad to look the way i want it

Nice, man! You should upload some pics when you get done (assuming you don't get frustrated like me and stop) haha. You might be able to find some stocks on the ASGI boneyard or ebay or something. It'd be worth a look. Anyways, good luck with the build and hopefully you can put together something you really like!

You could use the ics cxp as a base gun. The upper rail is removable.

It is? I was originally going to use that but I wasn't sure if the handguard and upper rail could be taken off. That helps now. Haha thanks man!
